  I’ve just purchased a 1 year old ex-dealer owned Subaru Forester XT from Hammonds in Halesworth. It was a pleasure doing business with them. The Forester is a great vehicle. Nicely spec’d, well planted on the road, feels very solid and pleasure to drive. The all-wheel-drive gives grip when needed and the ground clearance is excellent. Before this I had the Impreza WRX for 10 years from new and I loved it. The Forester a great mixture of road car performance combined with 4x4 dirt track qualities - perfect for active families, those with dogs and anyone living in rural locations. Paul Betts looked after me from my initial call to hand-over with instruction. I found the car on the internet and after speaking to Paul, felt confident the car and deal they offered was worth the 2-1/2 hour drive! And I wasn’t disappointed... The Forester was immaculate, still had 4 years Subaru warranty remaining and represented a great saving from even the most competitive price on a new one. Hammonds showroom is very nice, clean and had the full range of Subaru vehicles on display. I was also introduced to the rest of the dealership team, which was a nice touch. All were helpful and friendly. Despite being 130 miles away, I will be taking a long weekend to visit the area to get my car serviced and maintained by them.
